EcoVillage Off Grid Bermed Lodge – A design build project which consists of ten efficiency apartments and community room and is approx.. 7,500 square feet. The lodge’s electricity is powered by 20kw photovoltaic off grid solar system. While thermal solar is used for heating and domestic hot water, it also has a wood gasifier used in conjunction with thermal solar for heating in winter months.
